I've seen a few, and they are quite spooky. When the Sun is eclipsed, it gets dark in the middle of the day (last one i witnessed ) and you can see the stars at noon and everything is all shadowy! Awesome, and a bit un-nerving! But truly something you will never forget!

Dontcha know it! All these natural occurances and people being fearful of them, because they did not understand what was happening, is how religion, gods and worship originated. To placate nature...gods. That's how I see it.
