Dawnling

There was a study done.
Monkeys were put in a cage
with a banana on a rope above a ladder.

When the monkeys climbed the ladder to get the banana,
they were squirted with cold water.

New monkeys brought in were admonished by existing monkeys
to NOT GO ON LADDER.

Original monkeys were taken out over time and replaced.
Soon, no original monkeys were there and the spraying was no longer done but ALL MONKEYS FEARED THE LADDER and none
'knew' why.

I must look this one up.

Take this story, add to it the facts of thinking that the earth is flat,
also add in that much of the brain is wired to itself
and so the brain is very happy to make up stories,
add in fear -
voila!!
Religion!

The human brain loves a finish to a story.
When it can't get an answer, it is perfectly happy to make one up
an then beat that story into it's young.
voila!
cruel stupid religion.


In the last 30 years we have surpassed the sum total of all previous human information.
Now is the time to, like corsets, put religion to rest.

religion has a bloodily hideous track-record.
ANY charitable works done in the name of religionn can - easily - be done without it
