Actually I'm more inclined to think Jesus knew a thing or two about some traditional treatments and that's how he got some results [greatly exaggerated in the bible] while still not producing anything one today would classify as a miracle.

The part where Jesus mixes soil with his spit to "remove the scales" from a blind man's eyes is interesting for the fact that the soil of where it took place was found to have nati-cateract properties. I'm also sure that the one in five hundred year event where Judea is cold enough for lakes and shallow seas to freeze is how Jesus walked on "water."

Realize folks, I'm not dissin' Jesus. I'm just putting things into proper perspective. The kid had a lot of shit to deal with at an early age. He gets nothing but sympathy/empathy from me in that regard. And, he dealt with adversity as best he could.

Yes, he had a great base of general knowledge from which to draw due to his nomadic lifestyle coupled with his need to fit in. Mozart, for example, faced the same challenges.

He adapted. It's a human trait. The rest is marketing hype. Don't believe everything you read.
