According to the book, you cannot help. Only the son can. As far as looking to the father for perfection goes, I thought you were claiming he can change his mind, weren't you? That only happens if God comes to believe he was wrong previously.

Changing one's mind when one is God is not imperfection. Perfection is ANYTHING that God does.
