I suggest that it is not possible to go too far with a former Nazi who, from the most influential pulpit in Christendom, declined to take a hard line against child molestation when child molestation was determined to have been perpetrated AND perpetuated by his own clerics.

And I suspect that every one of those victims and their families will agree with me.

Can anyone wrap their minds around a child, perhaps yours, being sexually molested by the figure for whom you taught your child to have both greatest respect and complete submission?

Even IF the CLEARLY fallible Pope attended, it would be an inappropriate spectacle in light of company policy about separation of church and state.

Since he would NEVER have attended, it becomes an even more extravagant waste.
