What's funny is that China's communist government interfers with internal policies of many countries around the world and even deliberately fuels genocides and oppress in some. So they've no right to bitch about "meddling" into their internal affairs.

Second, the only reason Jr. brings up the communist government's human rights abuees is because of Chinese Christians, however they're not even in the top three of most oppressed religions. In fact the majority of Christians are allowed to worship as they please so long as they separate it from politics. Those religions which are perscuted with all the brutality the communist state can muster are Tibetan Buddhists, Muslims and Fallon Gong. Members of those religions have been wrongly imprisoned, subected to "reeducation," torture and murder on a massive scale.

It's good to see Jr. bringing these issues up before the commie olympics, but I know Jr. will get all weak at the knees, issue an apology and cave to communist demands like the coward he is.

Right. No government on earth passively accepts serious challenge to its existence. If you know that then do what you want to do [practice Christianity], just leave the government aloe.

You assessment of his viability as a candidate is at least partially based (by your own admission) on the color of the man's skin. How is that not racist?

I am not anti black.

Blacks have been excluded for centuries from every position in the USA.

To support him because he is black and capable is not racism but justice.

And don't give me that colorblind society bullshit.

Christianity will stand up to scrutiny by the Chinese.

I just hope the government does not feel threatened by it once it really takes hold.

Maybe within as little as 50 years China too could be a Christian nation like the United States.

To support him because he is black is make a decision about another human being based upon the color of his skin rather than the character within. Anytime you make base you opinions about somebody based on race (whether those opinions are positive or negative) you are being racist.
