I am simply saying that same thing. Jacobovici has the same vested interest as a "Jewish" expert.

Except that he's really only basing his conclusions on the what evidence he could before it was sealed. I'm sure if the work would've continued his claims would be validated fully.

I watched this show several times, visited the site and looked into as much as i could find when it came out.....we have actually had this conversation before! LOL!

I personly doubt that Jesus was devine and this thread is to debate the ideals surrounding his divinity.....or his teaching that we are all the son of god. Faith is personal. I hold nothing against anyone for what they choose to believe.....I like this debate.

Hey.......somebody has to play "Devils" advocate. (Pun intended...and used with you before on this convo I think)
But whichever you think I was agreeing with you that Mary Magdalen didn't hightail it to France.

I think it is historicaly thought that she ended up in Egypt directly after his death.

Earlier Comics mention Eithiopian Legend and I believe it refers to the Virgin Mary...in regards to the Ark of the Covenant and it's last known location. The Ark of the Covenant

The Eithiopian story of the ark pertains specifically to the ark not Mary. Although, for someone to make that journey by themselves in that time period isn't as likely as it would be today.

A thing to bare in mind about the Roman laws behind crucification [yes, only Romans would have the authority to crucify someone, not the Jewish high priests] is that it's meant to be an afterlfie punishment as well as a political excution. A person is meant to stay on the X [not a vertical cross] even after they die. The only person who has the right to ask for the body is the wife.

If your interested in "Second Daughter" type fiction, there's a novel by Lewis Perdue I read before the whole Dan Brown craze called:

The Linz Testament.

Quite good, I enjoyed it much more then the Dan Brown book I couldn't even finish. I find his novels far too "twisty" to the point where it becomes distracting. I read 3/4's of Angles and Demons and didn't even finish it. I didn't care how it might end, he had yanked me around so many times. The twists simply start to be injected into the story for the sole reason to keep the plot line going. Any connection to the plot for these twists start to become so vague or contrived it's just silly.

But some people like that stuff. Most hardcore fiction readers really just wrote his stuff off as "average". It's the content that took off and became the craze. Paralleling people's already known interests about the subject. From a literary standpoint his novels are just so-so.

Of course, racism is a spiritual disease.

After the Resurrection this disease, like the others, should not be present.

Thus one more stumbling block to man becoming one with God should be removed.

Your questions one and two are a little confusing and should be sharpened.

1) Yes...as long as one believes and has faith, you will become one with God

2) No, man is seperate from the devine, and will always be below the level of God

I voted number two because we cannot become one with God under the current Satanic system.

Yet we can become one with God after the Resurrection.

Now one can try one's best to abide by God's laws now, but we cannot achieve it because we are fallen, imperfect and naturally prone to sin.

The flesh, including the brain, is weak.

Yet in number 2 man will always be 'below' God even as we become one with him by 'being on the same page.'

Given the part of the world he came from, Jesus would have very likely been dark-skinned, lest he stand out like sore thumb.

Yet you are not certain. Clearly you are confused and lack any real faith.

It does not matter where Mary was buried.

Oh I am certain. But one cannot discern the heart and mind of the individual.

That is why we will be judged after we are resurrected from nonexistence.

You cannot hide your heart or mind from Jesus or God.

So some might still harbor racist notions.

Skin color is very important to many and that strong inclination might not go away.

Just as a murderer knows what it is like to take a human life.

It is not for ME to judge the heart and mind of man after the Resurrection.

In fact I will be judged myself.

I will simply admit to my horribly past sinful nature and put myself at the mercy of the almighty one.

I think it's the other way around. When one takes a good hard look at Christianity, one finds, that it is superimposed upon Paganism.

It's just that some names were changed...like the Holidays, for instance. It seems it was easier to christianize the pagan holidays, then to eradicate them, to make up new ones. They were too deeply ingrained in the populace of yore.

Paganism is very much alive within Christianity. As in: Harvest Festivals, Fertility Festivals, Solstice Festivals (to celebrate the death and rebirth of nature)

And...of course... Halloween. Which is to remember and honor the ones who have passed on, and to celebrate our ancient Ancestors. And...to have Fun!
