Agreed. I read about this a couple days ago in the newspaper. It´s funny, I was driving back home from work monday night, and dialing to some local radio station in the meantime, I came up with this really corny aired debate with biologists, phisicians, a catholic preacher, and the moderator, all in an optimistic attitude and at the same time cursing at the current local government accusing them for some new law they brought up permitting embryonic stem cell research a few years back, as if this new discovery had suddenly fixed up all their ethical issues.
I have no clue if it´s some sort of substitute for the embryonic one, I would guess it can just lead to a wider range-scope for medical research. I suppose they are complimentary for many experiments.
