If we knew the answer our minds probably couldn't comprehend it. When our brains lack the ability to really comprehend infinity or even know if such a thing exists.

Kana and Eric, I have to disagree that scientific questions that breed religious inquiry cannot be in the religion thread. It is what I do. I know this is your world and I am but a bug in it but that is my two cents worth.

nRoberts did get too bent out of shape over it though and overreacted.

Is this what we have to do to get Kana to join our conversation? Ok, then. If evolution has gone on forever (infinite universe) then God would have evolved. Then he then would have used the processes which created him to create us.

Well all I know is if that is Kana's real picture in her profile she is a cutie pie. So she can just have her way her as far as I am concerned. She showed some temper there too when she called nRoberts "you infantile little turd." Now that was inventive. But I digress.

Evolution has not gone on at all. Many some minor adaptations but for the most part it is deevolution (even unto extinction). And just as life did not evolve neither did the universe. It too was created. Had to be. God always has been and always will be. He created everything to be engaged and for feedback. But mostly for love. If you have children you will know what I mean. Nothing created God for he is the solution to the chicken and egg conundrum.

Perhaps God is always evolving. God is the sum-total intellect of the entire universe. Each sentient being is one of Gods brain cells. We live and die individually, and God goes on. The total of all our intellects, emotions, hopes, and fears.
