Good choice man. Great machine especially with a good to great TV. It's the future IMO.

Jeff, im gonna stick with Unreal Tournament for my online kicks until I move house in the near future. Then i'll look into some wireless connection and some online PS3 goodness. I have been a single player kinda gamer for some time now and love a good story far more than a good online match. But maybe by that time COD5 will be out, we can both get that and kick some ayass! . You with me

You might check out uncharted, too, m8. Great game- linear, but super graphics and a real fun 1 player game.

Yep, I would think so...they sell a little adapter so you can upload all of your ps2 memory card info to the PS3 - I think it's like 20.00+-.

i'll probably pick it up this week. i'll let you know when i get everything set up. of course you have to buy a fucking adapter. i should have known. that's how they screw ya'.

Sony is making a massive loss on every PS3 so they have to make their money on downloads and perhiperals and the like. It's fair game if you ask me, but that's cause I don't intend to buy many of them. Only what I need to play online when I move.

$399 for the cheapest ps3 and they're losing money? that's hard to believe.

I am pretty sure it's true. The 40GB model here is £299.99 (got mine for £279.99 cause it didn't have Spiderman 3 Blu Ray with it). I am pretty sure they are losing money on them, all companies lose money on console sales. Right Jeff ?. Where is Free Parking when you need him lol.
