I just made myself a mini calendar for sky events, so I thought I'd share.

2008 Sky watching:

Feb. 21: Total Lunar eclipse
April 22: Lyrid Meteor showers
May 05: Eta-Aquarid Meteor showers
July 28: S. Delta Aquarid Meteor showers
August 01: Solar eclipse (N. Hem.)
August 12: Perseid Meteor showers
August 16: Partial solar eclipse
September 01: Aurigid Meteor showers
October 08: Draconid Meteor showers
October 21: Orionid Meteor showers
November 12: North Taurid Meteor showers
November 17: Leonid Meteor showers
November 22: Alpha-monocerotid Meteor showers
December 06: Phoenicid Meteor showers
December 07: Puppid-Velid Meteor showers
December 13: Geminid Meteor showers

I'm going to print this and spend tree carcass.

I live on the 18th floor on a hill looking east...30 mile view,
180 degrees.

If I get on a ladder, I can get 360 but I can't let anyone see that.

Found it by doing a simple search in the Google "add a public calendar" sections; search for "earth and sky" and it's the fourth one down listed as "Meteor Showers in 2008."
