Those legs didn't seem like they'd hold the body up at all and the feet were tiny, yet that monster could do better than a human on rocks, snow and ice!

First few seconds I realized it was a DARPA project because of the packs it was carrying. Right now the military is going for a wheeled robot called the Mule, but there's advantages the legged version will have when they've tweaked it some more.

I don't think I was mad...but it did sort of evoke emotions....like other people say here...you almost feel sorry for it.....weird.

I don't know what the plans are for the robot, but you have to admit the technology itself is very cool. I grew up with "robots" that took "C" batteries and had various sensors on them that were supposed to do things, but they were pretty much a disapointment. This dog robot is awesome.
