LCD screens

remebr we're not supposed to leave a fixed image on CRT screens?
does the same thing apply to LCD screens?

I'll frequently pause my DVR; leaving a fixed image should i turn off the LCD TV do impede burning?

how about computer LCD's??

You need rhino skin
If youre gonna pretend
Youre not hurt by this world

If you listen long enough
You can hear my skin grow tough
Love is painful to the touch
Must be made of stronger stuff

You need rhino skin
To get to the end
Of the maze through this world

You can have image persistence on LCD screens, though it goes away after a period of time. Still, it's not a bad idea to switch off your TV if you're going to leave the DVR paused. Your DVR might also have a screensaver that you could enable.

None that I am aware of, but I could be wrong.

Nice. I use the cheapy DVR built into my cable box.

I suppose the same deal goes with LCD computer moniters?

At times I leave mine on all day. I get so caught up in the computer. I don't know if that is a good idea.
