The only reason we stay with Quest is because we have a good package deal which includes phone, cell and computer.

I think there are issues w/ that bug...... I tried to get rid of it on my wifes comput & it was a huge hassle.... It sucks up power, bandwith & is just adware........

I know what you mean. But in the land of tornadoes, straightline winds of 50 mph, flash flooding, ice and snowstorms...I gotta have my weather bug.

Don't they have other more local/direct options there in tornado alley??

I thought they have some type of cell phone, email, tc flash, land phone call system as well as alarms etc............ More the merrier I guess.

Yes they do; I have a weather radio that warns of storms etc, but it's annoying to have on.

I don't always have my cell phone on, or my email open so weather bug is handy for me to check, because the info is local and I'm usually at my computer anyway.

Get Verizon's wireless broadband. Mine rocks. It's about as fast as a 3.0/768. I use it to post on here from time to time (usually I am on my 15/15 FiOS, like right now

Is Qwest DSL? If so, it might just be wiring/filter problem.
