Techno-Maladroit needs help.

I listen to an internet radio station (wxrt.com) that frequently broadcasts programs or concerts I'd like to keep. I have no idea how to go about doing so. Is it even possible?

Robert Randolph concert tonight, I'd really like to record it.

Anyone?

It's going to take a utility to do it. Be careful which one you download and use as some may contain spyware and malware.

I did a google for "recording streaming media" and there's tons of stuff.

I'm seeing a lot of referals to these utilities:

Applian Technologies

WM Recorder

Real Media Catcher

I don't recommend any of these only because I've never used any of them. They may be awesome, they may suck.

But you get the idea, it's going to take "something" running along side the streaming radio station to capture it.

You might want to try downloading the latest version of RealPlayer. I know it now has a feature to record and keep Utube like videos that are embedded. Quite a nice little feature, I don't know if it works for audio though. I can't check either since my recent reformat I haven't needed RealPlayer yet, so I haven't installed it.
