Can anyone help me with the following problem?

Help downloading pics

When I first started downloading my digital pictures a preprogramed file would open my pics and put them in microsoft 'my pictures' automatically. I also have adobie and the official olympus downloader but I preferred microsoft's version best because it gave me option to name complete file versus numbers and it put the photos in my gallery.
I just tried downloading a free test version of windows 2007 which I have now turned off and deleted. My picture upload program no longer pops up for me when I plug in. (and my email signature disapeared)

Can anyone give me advise or help on to to fix this problem?

Did you uninstall the test program? Did you try to then 'restore' to regain your original default settings? Did you check your windows settings to make sure that 'my pictures' is once again your default?

I am not very computer savy, but I've run into a similar problem and fixed it that way.

It may be as simple as going to the My computer, control panel, clicking on Add or Remove programs and unintstall the program. Restart your computer and then do the same thing again but "Install" the program. I assume you mean this was a program that came with the installed operating system?

I use a program called "Picture Motion Browser" cpyrighted 2006 from Sony. I believe it came with my camera. If yours came with the camera, you will need the disk, or google to see if the needed program is available for free download. (they usualy are) Then just uninstall then put the DVD in and load the program that way.\

If all else fails....check to make sure there isn't a problem with the memorystick, the outer shith, if any or maybe a usb connection problem with the cord or input. If you are using a usb and have more than one input, try another port.

Check the chain of technology for the weakest link.
