Palin's "slutty flight attendant look"
Letterman's being "pathetic"

"It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope."
-- Robert F. Kennedy
really?
someone actually thinks Letterman is more pathetic?
Palin couldn't even defend her fake outrage to the Today Show interviewer, and Letterman is only a comedian.

Palin is winning the message among some I see, not just here either. In other words, Letterman never once brought up the 14 year old, yet there are people who believe Palin when she said that he did, even though Palin was the first to bring her up.
Let's take a literal look at what was said...
Letterman said that her daughter had been “knocked up” during the game by Alex Rodriguez.
No more. No less.
You people really think that Letterman meant that 14 year old girl, even when he had no idea who was at that game?
Let me tell you what has happened, you have fallen victim to the right wing spin machine. You believe Palin who twisted it into something sick and unthinkable. A woman who will take the most innocent aspects of her own child and use it for political gain.
The only monster here is Palin.
If Palin and her double-digit I.Q.'d devotees didn't have feigned outrage, what would they have to be outraged about?
The upside is that this may help Letterman's ratings:
Flap over Palin joke could boost Letterman
Associated Press - June 13, 2009
NEW YORK (AP) - This may not be what Sarah Palin (PAY'-lin) had in mind.
It could be that her criticism of David Letterman will give a ratings boost to the talk show host, at a critical time.
Palin called Letterman "perverted" the other day, for making a joke about her daughter getting "knocked up" by New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez.
Letterman has admitted that the joke was in poor taste. But he has said he was joking about Palin's 18-year-old daughter -- already an unwed mother -- and not the 14-year-old daughter who was with Palin at the Yankee game.
The story had the effect of turning attention to Letterman during the second week of his new competition with Jay Leno's replacement, Conan O'Brien, on NBC's "Tonight Show".
While the final numbers won't be out for a few days, there's a chance that Letterman could average more viewers than O'Brien for the week.
The director of the Center for the Study of Popular Television at Syracuse University says it'll be "interesting" to see if any ratings bump can be maintained.
Letterman also had a strong lineup of guests in recent days, including Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington.

I didn't know which Palin gal was at the game with Mama Tightbutt either, but the unwed one that preached about Abstinence Only birth control (while holding her baby in her arms) was the only one that came to mind when I heard Letterman's joke.
Pity about Letterman's ratings getting a boost over this. That was the reason Palin said she turned down Letterman's invitation to come on the show, because she didn't want to help his ratings.
With those kind of enemies, who needs friends?
she still has younger ones she can exploit for publicity doesnt she?
Sarah & Todd plus 5
What's pathetic are the ridiculous caricatures our media creates and assigns to these politicians. Letterman's joke - being part and parcel of that - is somewhat (but not wholly) pathetic.
Palin's wardrobe is just outstanding, classy and sexy at the same time.
So yes, Letterman's joke is more pathetic.
Oh man, do we have different tastes! Classy & sexy would be some of the LAST words I'd use to describe Palin's look. I wouldn't touch that with a 10 ft pole.
To each his own.
To me, her fake outrage and dragging this into the public eye, rejecting his apology, and claiming he's lying about not knowing it was her 14 yr old at the game rather than the baby-mama is way more pathetic than any joke a comedian could come up with.
