Thumbs up From Rock-'N-Roll To THE SENATE!!!

It could be worse.....like a drunken frat-boy rising to The Presidency.

"After eight long months of court battles, appeals, recounts and more appeals, Al Franken may about to be finally, officially certified as Minnesota's new U.S. Senator.

The state's Republican governor, Jim Pawlenty, told CNN on Sunday that he expects the state's Supreme Court will rule on a lawsuit filed by Sen. Norm Coleman "any day" now, and that decision could mean Franken's certification."

Pawlenty sounded pretty genuine here to me. All we need is for the state SC to come back with their ruling.

Coleman should've used that for an attack ad.

He should have pulled a stack of votes out of somebody's car trunk right after Frankin did. Tit for tat, as they say.

breaking news - minnesota supreme court rejects coleman appeal!

palenty vowed to sign franken's selection if the state court found in his favor.

coleman can still appeal this in federal court - if he's stupid, and really really WANTS to pay even MORE of franken's legal costs! (he's got to reimburse franken for all appeal legal expenses!)

Minnesota Decision: Al Franken Won, Supreme Court Says

    The Huffington Post
    First Posted: 06-30-09 02:03 PM | Updated: 06-30-09 02:19 PM

The Minnesota Supreme Court has ruled that Al Franken has won the state's Senate race. Norm Coleman can still appeal the decision; Franken has yet to be certified as senator.

The panel dismissed Coleman's arguments against the election results, writing that "introduced no evidence of foul play or misconduct, and the election day precinct returns are available to give effect to those votes."

"For all of the foregoing reasons, we affirm the decision of the trial court that Al Franken received the highest number of votes legally cast and is entitled under Minn. Stat. § 204C.40 (2008) to receive the certificate of election as United States Senator from the State of Minnesota," the opinion concludes.

    Evidence, link, anything??
