    Palin a threat to dems?

I bring this up because it seems like everywhere we turn Palin is attacked by the left, myself included. She asks for much of it by her stiff reactions to jokes, inability to interview well or listen to advisers, etc.

But it seems like anytime she gets press, even if it's for something like the newly released runners magazine interview, dems go nuts when she gets media attention for it. It seems the right feels the same way whenever Obama gets press, and let's face it that's all the time and we don't like it when they bash him either.

Since most of us here are dems, do you think the bashing of Palin is fair, even when it's not necessarily called for?

Of course it is because she's just like Bush, a fucking moron with a horse shoe up her ass! She's such an intellectual light weight, her position as governor of Alaska makes me think it's the state with the biggest concentration of delusional hicks. Intellectually, she barely rates as a sales clerk at Home Depot. Her popularity is a direct result of this country's glorification of everything that is reactionary and stupid. It's a twisted reverse snobbery that was on full display in the 2008 election. I'm sorry, but this is one point I really, really can't indulge the "two sides to every story" canard . Every time I hear some other fool like Douche Lymphnode singing her praises, my first thought is "You gotta be fucking kidding me."

I don't think Dems bash her out of fear, at all. I think they do it because she gives them such great material to work from. She's in the same league as Michelle Bachman, or perhaps Bernie Goldberg.

In a way, she kind of reminds me of Jack Benny and his style of comedy. He was a master of setting up punch lines so that his costars could deliver the big laugh at his expense.

For that, I applaud her, and I hope she has many years left to keep us all entertained, and remind us why a win for John McCain in 2007 would have been the biggest mistake we as a nation could have ever made.
"Prohibition... goes beyond the bound of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and

makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which

our government was founded" -Abraham Lincoln
