A question for supporters of Ms. Clinton

While I am still independent, aside from being completely in support of whomever the Democratic nominee turns out to be, we have heard many of Mr. Obama's supporters declare they will not, if Ms. Clinton is the nominee, vote at all, or perhaps will vote for Mr. McCain.
My question to Ms. Clinton's supporters is, if Mr. Obama is the nominee will you:

    a) Vote for Mr. Obama
    b) Refuse to vote
    c) Vote for the Republican nominee
    d) Write in a name
    e) Vote for the television personality of your choice

I will vote for whoever the Dem nominee is.

I think many people here are forgetting one of the most important jobs of a President. One that affects not just his administration or the one after, but generations.

And that is picking Supreme Court Justices.

Are you really that shallow as to throw away your vote, even given the prospect of more justices like Alito, Thomas and Scalia? Does your little protest vote matter more than the direction of our nation over the next 20, 30 or more years?

Sometimes you have to think long term.

An interesting question, my instincts say given which states are left, it will be Clinton. She already is carrying a lead on delegates, and as much as I would not mind Obama winning short of a few very serious victories in key states, I can't really see it happening. If Clinton is on the ticket, I would probably go for her over McCain. Its nothing except, I just think he's far to much of a warmonger for my personal tastes. He is also far to old, I know that sounds weird but there is a serious disconnect between him and the latter generations (myself included since he's near 30 years older than me). Plus, I admit, I would like to finally see someone break the marble ceiling. We all have to resign ourselves to a limit in choices I suppose. I do know that Clinton is a bit more liberal on social issues which is something that I never agree w/ Republicans on.

Hopefully Obama will be on the ticket.

Karl Rove on FNN (of course) last night showed pretty clearly how it's highly unlikely numerically that Obama can catch Clinton. Rommney just guranteed McCain.

Are you a supporter of Ms. Clinton? Do you have an answer to the question posed?

I oppose Clinton because she's a corporatist and won't reflect anything her constituents stand for. I see nothing in her voting record that reflects stength of character when it comes to issues. I don't see any fire in her. I see too much of her husband's MSM corporatism, and NAFTA in her. I despise her UHC plan that included privatized insurance. She wiffed on the Iraq War, when it was Congress' duty to investigate the reasons behind the march to war. I would imagine she will drive moderate Democrats (centrists and exhiled traditional conservatives from the GOP) to the GOP ticket from leeriness of her agendas, successful decades long propaganda from the Right, and a underlying misogyny in America.

I could get behind Obama, out of the group. I was hoping Huckabee would be successful for the GOP in case the Dems loose. My man is Nader, but he's getting too old. He'll get my vote if it's McCain vs Clinton tho.
