I was just on Democratic Underground and there are 3 threads about this. People are incredulous over the way she answered. Someone asked how she would like it if they asked Obama " Do you think Hillary was involved in the death of Vince Foster" and he answered I have to take her at her word instead of absolutely not.
I agree, this is probably her worst screwup of the campaign. She has been doing good things lately but this is the worst kind of dirty politics, I hope this is plastered all over the media.
That made me livid, too. She would never say "of course not" -- it was like she had substantiated doubts that she was too honorable to mention on 60 Minutes -- and then she had to put a poor-Hillary spin on it.
I have had 4 calls since she did it! There are a hell of a lot of very pissed people. My girlfriend is moving her husbands stuff to the den for the night cause he said "no one is falling for that"! She says she can't bear to look at him she is so incensed!
By friend who is an attorney in Oregon says he is starting a campaign to not vote at all in protest if Hillary is the nominee.
And my friend in NY says she was contacted by a group there to start planning how to vote out Rangel and Hillary.
It will be interesting to see how the all this oh so Pro- Obama press handles this!
