Radical Rays ! set to win pennent

in 1969 the Mets theme was " can you believe it?"

Now almost 40 years later, here in Florida it's
" I can't believe it !"

Who would have?

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays ; just the Rays now -
and fondly called the Radical Rays - are set to win ( I CAN'T beleive it) the AL East.

The Mighty Yankees, the Boston Boomers - all must look up in the standings to see Tampa in first place.

This team is all about clutch hitting, and strong pitching, and a talented defense.
They are well rounded, and have the potential to win the World Series.

The Northeast press has been trying to ignore them all season,
but they have pounded theirselves to acknowledgement

Here is a thread dedicated to those Radicals
Yes, we can now believe it.

Please, for the love of all that is holy, beat Boston. Don't just beat 'em, embarrass 'em, I miss the whiny, pouting Sox fan of days gone by. Maybe that will put an end to all the 'johnny come lately' fans who pretend like they are lifelong fans.

Good Luck today.

This has been a great series. I'd say unusual , but for the Bo-Sox this is starting to become par for the course.

Remember if you lose today, you'll only have a tiny taste of what "real" RedSox fans have had for many years.

I think most of the Demons have been exercised, but there were so many it's hard to tell.
