They got so friggin desperate they took knives, forks, and spoons after that, lol!

After we moved in there were quite a few pickups pulling into and quickly backing out of the driveway in the beginning. Word got around "we were home", it that stopped. I hadn't had anything stolen until this past Thanksgiving when the fookers took my dogs. May they rot in hell.
Knives, forks and spoons - you are lucky they did not take the wall, my girlfriends mother had a house in Maryland, now she does not. Dont feel so bad about my wheel barrow, just could not believe the lengths they went to get it, crossed a field, into the woods and behind some underbrush.

That is sad that people resort to stealing, but as they say it is profitable, minimal investment, maximum return and when the opportunity presents itself ....... sorry that free market / business argument I get.

Must have been entertaining watching the pickups pull in and out.

Dogs, now that is a shooting offense, might get those chips that you can track them - probably would not work in your area.

By the way how do you get internet ? ......

(Pre false wall they stole stereos, TV, etc. btw. It was only limited to cutlery afterwards, lol.) We had a wheelbarrow story too, but they used ours to haul the stuff around the gate out to the vehicle. A deputy driving by noticed it in the ditch and realized there was a house down in here. (lightbulb!) They stole her house? OMG.

I can't discuss my dogs without losing it. It was really bad when we were still searching for them. I found a beautiful English Setter female some AH shot thru the neck and left (alive). (Heard her whining) The vet estimated she'd laid there 4 days and nights. I won't use details..it was bad. He had to put her down. I still haven't found her owner. There is zero animal services here, no shelters, nada.

No, chipping wouldn't work here. No technology to read it via vet. (Yehaw)

I have HughesNet for Internet. It's all that is available. I'm stuck with DirecTV too. Sux.

I just had rocks to move around, it was a real pain, but it got me away from Virginia.

They left some of the house, it was an old hardwood house close to the road - the yuppies probably wanted the wood for that "rustic" look.

That is a shame about the dogs. One of our dogs had pups, gave one of them to my girlfriends son in law, he then gave it to a friend because he could not take care of it (job). Heard later that the friend put it on steroids and either fought it or used it as a guard dog - I was pissed. As I mentioned one animal that deserves to be hunted for sport is the human animal. One reason that I have put my guns up, an animal that might cross my path is one thing a human who does so with intent and malice.....

Following the Bush example a preemptive strike, without regard to law and order, is the correct response.... I digress, the dog thing is upsetting.

Is Hughes Net over the phone lines/modem - the baud rate must have improved - graphics ?

HughesNet is satellite. Some days you'd swear I was on a 56k dial up, and other days it's almost fast. Overall I am not impressed for the price, but it's all that I can get...so I guess it's great!

The extra sucky part is tech help is waaaay east. I still don't "have an ear" for that accent.

Cool, it is good that they can provide this service for remote regions. There is hope if I succeed in escaping Virginia - damn job thing.
