when we did sports bets over at pn, the loser(s) had to change their avatar to that of the winner's choice for a week...everyone would pick the winner of all the games and whomever had the most correct picks would be the winner for that week and would choose the avatars for the others*...you could sticky this thread and every monday people could come here and make their picks...i'll play:

patriots vs. jaguars = patriots

colts vs. chargers = colts

giants vs. cowboys = cowboys

seattle vs. green bay = seattle


in the event of a tie, the winners could post a few different avatars and the losers have to choose from them and they have to have them up within the day

Okay. I'm just going to have to do a new thread every week and include a new poll. Can't see any other way to get the poll results and pics.

So, two things:

1) As, Kanadesaga suggested, we'll use the scores as tiebreakers.There are two different ways to do the tiebreakers different ways: total points per game; or each score for each team would give more bragging rights. Since we can bet on one game or 4, we'll just have to go with whether people won more than they lost I guess.

2) We bet our custom user titles. I say the losers have to change theirs to "Lousy Bitch Loser."

Please give me some input on this people. The games are tomorrow, so we've got to get this worked out so we can creat our pool.

What? Seriously, we have to decide the scores too? I don't know how to do that stuff. Can't we just have winners and losers? I have no bookie or gambling skills whatsoever, and it would suck to lose cause your team didn't meet some random point spread.

Is that what you meant by using scores as tie breakers? I copied what you said but had no idea what it meant.

This way if you pick the right score you do better than someone who just picked the winning team. Here's an example. I picked Packers by three points. As long as they win by three points it doesn't matter the score. it could be 3-0. so picking a score is easier now Teri? Just those that are good at it can show their skills, (I have none). so I would say you go with overall win/loss. Then use the actual scores as tiebreakers. the spread between them being the tiebreaker.

Therefore if you pick all four games and the scores match yours perfectly. You are the winner. King of the hill. since odds are that won't happen, it might go like this. I have packers by 3, colts by 1, giants by 8 and the Jaguars by 1. If the games end up and I pick all the games right but the scores are this packers by 10, colts by 5 giants by1 and jaguars by 1. I went 4-0 but in scores I was 18 points off, that should give a wide enough spread among all the posts to have winners and losers. Draw a line at the winning point (halfway) and losers change their titles.
