Hey Zimmy! what will happen with Sundin?

he sure gets a lot of talk these days on the sports channels. on OTR yesterday, they were saying that JFJ is damned if he does, and damned if he doesnt. what do you figure?

just as long as he doesnt go to Detroit

They first need to get rid of JFJ right away. Bring in someone that knows what they're doing and blow the whole thing up. That would involve a trade of Sundin as much as I'd hate to see him go. I just read on TSN that Pogge was just called up. That should fix everything. Phew.

i am starting to pity JFJ. i wonder how much freedom he actually has to make deals. Sundin will have to go, if only to do him a favour. this may be his last chance to get the Cup

somehow i think Pogge wont be quite enough to help out.

what did you think of Downie's sucker punch on Blake?

I don't actually dislike JFK but you're right. The 'board' is really the problem when it comes to running the team properly. My pogge comment was sarcastic. no, i'm sure it'll take a lot more than him to turn this shit season around.

Downie is a little punk. The laughing afterward is what really pissed me off. I think the guy's got serious mental issues and has no place in the league.

Though Pogge might bring some freshness to the team. Raycroft was brutal last night. he looked like our Dwayne Roloson

did you happen to catch Bobby Clarke on OTR a few days ago? i believe his comment in regards to the sucker punch was, "i loved it"
because Blake said Downie shouldnt be in the league after the McCammond hit, Downie was somehow justified in punching him in the face when he couldn protect himself? it is easy to see why the Flyers are such punks, when management makes comments like this and encourages the behaviour

I didn't catch him on OTR but i did read about it. I thought the preseason hit was a bad one but the cheap shot on Blake just confirmed to me that this guy is a serious asshole. Clarke's not exactly a stranger to playing dirty either so it doesn't completely shock me but you make a good point on the example that management sets.
