Nah it was as the game was winding down, after they had clinched it...he walked over to the stands and yelled some shit at them...definetely some kind of taunt. Just unprofessional.

I did a google search of "rivers taunting crowd," and all I could come up with was message board discussions about it - a lot of them. Maybe they'll show in on SportsCenter.

I'm not sure what the context was but he walked up to the stands colt fans were flipping him off and he walked away smiling.

Not nearly as unprofessional as the Colts fans booing that 10 year old girl with the Pats jersey on....when she is supposed to be up there receiveing an honor...I have no sympathy for them.

...although I will say, from a drunken crowd of NFL fans, I expect less professionalism than from a very expensive NFL player.

I didn't know about that one. The Colt that gave Kaeding a little fuck you pat on the back after missing the field goal was messed up to. I guess what comes around goes around. I've been to a few games where I was hopeing a player would shut down some dumbass fan.

To me there is a big difference between Rivers( A grown man) taunting fans(adults), a former teamate razzing another(both grown adults). And a stadium of however many thousand adults booing a 10 year old girl...Especially when I'm sure it was a big moment for her...Why would they try to ruin it?

The only reason I was rooting for the Colts, was that I thought they had a chance of winning against the Pats.

...its turned into the worse of 2 evils. I think I actually want to see the Pats squash em, now, just so I can see Rivers looking though his ear-hole.

Good point!! I really don't know much about the incident except for what you have stated here but it does show thoughtlessness and possibly very little class on behalf of the colt fans. Personally I dream of being bood by tens of thousands of drunken bafoons but for a 10 year old girl that would be awfull.
