I would never put your team down like that. I like the Packers. They have very classy fans, unlike the Cowboys and the Patriots!

Yep. The Grand Slam has to be done in one calendar year. So 2008 is already a disappointing year for Roger.

Yup, and he screwed it up in January no less. He should just go on home and try again next year.

You know, I still haven't watched the darn thing. I'm just hoping I still have it TiVo'd. I was disgusted when all my favorite players got knocked off and figured it would be another Nadal/Federer free for all, so deleted a bunch of them without even looking. I think I still have those matches though.

And yeah, Sharapova is wiping the floor with everyone. I'm proud of her. She deserves it. She's fine tuned that mental toughness.

Maria is great, but I wish she'd play for the USA. Her dad wants her to play for Russia even though she's lived here since she was about 5 years old.

Yeah, but I still feel like she's on of our own. I don't care much about that stuff anyway. Safin is my favorite on the men's side. Did you see Safin and Bagdadas (sp?)? That was one great match, though I wish Safin had pulled out that 5th set of course. If he ever gets his head straight he'll be impossible to beat. He's got more natural talent than any of them.

Marcos Baghdatis had one of the toughest draws that I've ever seen! It was unreal. It's too bad because the Australian Open is his best tournament with all of the crazy Greeks that live in Melbourne. Safin in the 2nd round, Hewitt in Australia in the 3rd round, and had he advanced Djokovic, Ferrer, and Federer. The deck was stacked against him.

That's exactly what I was thinking about Safin, until Baghdatis beat him. They were doooooooomed.
