Can't blame the bandwagon jumpers....when we were growing up, players often began, and ended their careers w/the same team....

So why should fans be loyal, if players aren't?
I see your point. But that's what makes fans better than players. We root regardless of record and personal. and we pay for the priviledge.

Yea...there sure was an outcropping of Yanks fans for a few years...I would be amused when they couldn't even name any players besides Jeter, or Williams....

If you can't name the starting rotation, you're not a fan, or even their line up!

69 all over again!!!!(catching the Cubs, to play the Braves) I could deal w/that..

That sounds familiar
It was ugly to watch. I mean I felt pain.

Did you see the commentary last night about the poor guy that rents the boats in McCovey cove?

Since Bonds is gone, his revenue is 1/10th what it used to be...they need someone who can hit it into the bay.

It could be worse. It could be 1992. But don't worry, the Wilpons are already counting the money from the sucker...I mean fans...that go to see the new ballpark next year.

100 games to go. The next 30 are crucial, after that it either won't matter at all or it could be a fun ride.

The Phillies are going to run away with the NL East and the NL Wild Card will take 90+ wins. Stick a fork in the Mets. They are DONE.
