Total ownership....yea right. Examine every one of your examples.

In virtually every instance, it was poor performance by the bullpen late in the game.

Make that correction, and the Mets are unbeatable.




Last night, the Mets had that fire in their eye again. They got lax when it was 10-1, and the bats went silent. Yet another lesson in "going for the throat", and not letting up.



Heilman did a good job initially, but then served up another fattie...


I wish Wagner would develop a splitter, and get rid of that ridiculous slider. The splitter would look more like his fastball, thus it would be harder to hit.

It is almost always the bullpen. It's like playing russian Roulette, you'll never know what comes out of the chamber. Sometimes it's load-the-bases Heilman, others, it's one-two-three heilman. and Billy has been head fucked big time. But a splitter would be better.
