I fell asleep before the end...
At least the bullpen (Feliciano notwithstanding) did a good job last night. The hitters had so many opportunities during the course of the evening. One thing I've been meaning to mention...Early in the season, pitchers were blowing fastballs by David Wright...just as they did early last season. Wright is back on course now, but I noticed that he's pulling everything. David's natural swing had him hitting everything to right center since he came to the Mets. How many 2 strike homers did he hit into the right field seats two years ago? Wright's putting up the numbers, but I wonder about his timing. I believe he isn't sitting back any more, in an effort to avoid getting blown away by the fastballs. I wonder how this will play out?
