Vicariously I

I was wondering if people here wanted to play king of the hill this season. For those not familiar with it or perhaps know it by another name, King of the Hill is an elimination game played by picking an NFL team to win each week. You have to make a pick every week (one team) and you cannot pick the same team twice. Every week that the team you picked loses you get a strike. After 3 strikes you are eliminated from the game. The last one standing is the king of the hill.

Usually you play for money but we can just play for bragging rights.

If you would like to play let me know so I can create the weekly stat sheet showing who is playing. Every week you will pm me your picks (by noon on Friday unless there is a Thursday game then it’s by noon on Thursday) so no one else knows whose picking who until they are all in. If your pick is not in by noon on Friday (or Thursday depending on the week) you will receive a strike. Once everyone’s picks are in I will post the picks for that week so everyone can keep tabs on who picked what for the weekend. Tuesday I will post the results.

So anyone wanna give it a go?

This is also known as a 'Knock-Out Pool'. I play at work in combination with a regular pick spread. In lieu of $, we could go with avatars but that will impede mine and others side bets. Bragging rights woud be enough for me as well, tho.
Count me in. I'm a football betting addict and I've been clean-n-sober all off-season. Mostly, unless you count Arena!
Tho we always play one-strike, then start over if the game completes before the season ends.

Well if people want to go with the one strike and then start over if the game completes that's fine with me but knowing that once you're out you're out seems to make it more challenging. Anyway we need alot more people so we need to spread the word.

I can do one pick a week.

"Cards" weekly start to become too much work or an actual fantasy league is a royal pain (for me anyway even just playing).

But yeah, one pick a week , I can do that.
